BLUE SCREEN ERROR DURING OR AFTER AN UPDATE:

As you know while installing a new update in windows 10 you will run into a blue screen error. This is due to incompatible specifications of your pc or laptop, applications or unwanted software.

When you will get this error it will automatically get back to boot loader and try to restart of your windows to solve the problem. Sometimes it restore to the previous version of the windows.

When you get this error you can troubleshot this error while trying to update by the following steps:

Uninstall the third party application like it drives into the root folder and some miscellaneous software.

If you are getting this error than limit of times then you can move on further step and you can prevent blue screen errors during an upgrade. First  you need to copy all the data into external hard drive or set backup using google drive or one drive or in the USB flash drive.

If you are new user of the windows 10 to upgrading from the windows 7 or windows 8.1 to need the activation key. If you are already a user of windows 10 previous version and try to upgrade to the new version it will automatically reactivate after an upgrade.

Install the latest version of windows 10 updates:

Windows is functioned to automatic update when the internet is active so no need to worry if you are connected to the wireless internet or to the wired internet service.

Install the latest version of drives:

  1. Right click on the start and click on the device manager.
  2. Or use windows key+x to open the power user manager.
  • Right click on the device and choose update driver software.
  • Click the search automatically for updated driver software.

Wait for a while and it automatically search new versions of drivers to install. If it couldn’t find in automatic mode then go to the official website of your manufacturer then search and download drivers.

Uninstall the updates and drivers, applications:

  1. Open control panel.
  2. Choose uninstall a program link.

Uninstall the device driver:

If you get any error after install the new version of driver then uninstall using below steps.

  • Select the application you want to uninstall.

If you the blue screen error many times then let it boot three times until it take you to the automatic repair environment, then follow the below steps.

  1. Open the “choose an option” in troubleshoot.
  2. Click the advanced option.
  • Click on system restore.
  • After reboot select your account to sign in
  • Click next.
  • The system will automatically choose restore option after install of a new update of app, driver.
  • Select next option.
  • Click finish to restore point.

After doing these steps, the update is automatically removed by system restore which can help to fix the stop error.

Fixing by safe mode:

If you the blue screen error many times then let it boot three times until it take you to the automatic repair environment, then follow the below steps.

  1. Open the “choose an option” in troubleshoot.
  2. Click the advanced option.
  3. Select the start settings.
  • After that restart option.
  • Your computer will reboot, after reboot press F4 or 4 number in pad to select safe mode.
  • It will reboot several times.
  • Then follow the further steps in screen to continue.

Uninstall the device driver:

If you get any error after install the new version of driver then uninstall using below steps.

  • Right click on the start and click on the device manager.
  • Or use windows key+x to open the power user manager.
  • Open driver causing the problem.
  • Right the device and click uninstall.
