How To Install Windows 10 IoT On Raspberry Pi 3
Follow the steps to install the windows 10 on the raspberry pi 3;
- Insert the Sd CARD on your PC by using adapter.
- Open browser and type windows 10 support center.
- Click on the windows 10 IoT link.
- Search for the download link.
- After downloading on your PC just install it.
- Open the application.
- Click on the Set a new device located on the left side of the pane.
- Set the option show in below.
•Device type: Raspberry Pi 2 & 3.
•OS build: Windows 10 IoT core.
•Drive: SD card.
•Device Name: Raspberry Pi 3
•New Administrator password: admin (type whatever password you want).
•Confirm Administrator password: retype your password.
•Check the Wi-Fi network connection.
•Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect tit to the Raspberry Pi
9.Click on the download & install button once you completed all the steps above.
After completing the above steps, the application will download the windows 10 IoT in SD card. This process may take a while.
Once the installation is finish then remove your SD card from your computer and insert it.
Follow the steps to install the windows 10 IoT:
- Power on the Raspberry.
- Insert SD card.
- Choose your language.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password.
It may take a bit of time to finish the process. Once it complete installation process you will see the windows 10 IoT core screen which you will be not able to access all the apps like windows 10. Although you can open the internet radio app and something like network 3d printer etc.
Anyway, running the windows 10 on the raspberry is the one of the greatest things made by the Microsoft. Developers are still working on the updates of the application. Normally as Linux, the raspberry can run the windows 10 IoT.
